Our associate team at Performance for Growth are all qualified executive coaches and trainers with varied and valuable experience working at senior level with blue chip, national and international organisations.

Introducing Peter Green

Peter GreenPeter Green, the Director of Performance for Growth, spent the majority of his corporate career with the Mars Group, where he successfully designed and implemented major organisational change and senior management development programmes. He also worked with the Mars Drinks business, directing the Global learning and management development function.

Peter has delivered leadership and management development programmes for a number of multi-national blue chip and public sector organisations.

He has an Advanced Diploma in Coaching and Mentoring and is a registered NLP practitioner. He’s also a qualified Myers Briggs practitioner (MBTI) and a UK licensed Situational Leadership®II trainer. He uses a blend of psychometrics, NLP and emotional maturity, 360° feedback, executive coaching and experiential techniques alongside proven leadership models.

Peter says, “I’m passionate about developing people, particularly leaders and managers. Life can be very lonely for a leader in today’s world, with little feedback from below to guide and shape development. By helping leaders to shift their perspectives we enable them to make significant transitions.

“We never stop learning and most people have far greater potential than they realise. When I work with clients I try to add a little je ne sais quoi. Something unexpected, something that shifts perspectives and changes mindsets for the better".

Introducing Tina McCarthy

Tina McCarthy

Tina McCarthy is a Chartered Occupational Psychologist who studied at Bradford and Sheffield Universities. She started working as a consultant in 1991 with the SHL Group, the world’s largest occupational psychology consultancy. During her ten years at SHL she managed a team of consultants and was involved in a diverse selection of consultancy projects with clients from all industry sectors.

In 2001 Tina became an independent consultant, working in partnership with a wide range of clients from the private, public and not-for-profit sectors in the UK and internationally. Tina's principal talent is for enhancing the potential of individuals, teams and organisations, using her dynamic and targeted approach to accelerate development through bespoke interventions.

Tina specialises in executive coaching and designing and facilitating leadership and management development programmes and team-building workshops. She aims to respond in a tailored way to the needs of each individual and will often use psychometric techniques and 360° assessments as a starting point.

As a member of the British Psychological Society (BPS), qualified to Levels A and B, Tina is licensed to use a number of psychometric and personality type instruments, including the Myers Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI), JCA’s Emotional Intelligence Individual Effectiveness (IE) questionnaire, FIRO Element B, WAVE, OPQ and the full range of SHL products. Clients describe Tina as a knowledgeable practitioner with a very flexible, enthusiastic and engaging style.

 


Introducing Dave Bates

Dave Bates

Dave Bates gained extensive commercial experience in sales, marketing and general management with sports and fashion companies such as Amer Sports (Wilson, Salomon, Suunto and Atomic) and Icon (NordicTrack, Reebok and Weider) and VF Corp (Lee, Wrangler, Vans and The North Face).

During this period he realised that his key strength lay in developing teams and bringing out the true potential of individuals.

His areas of expertise include coaching for success, leadership and team building, change, presentation and personal effectiveness. Dave has extensive qualifications including an MBA, a BSc and a CAM. He has Myers Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI), Personality Types and Belbin Team Roles accreditation and is a certified NLP practitioner. He is also a Fellow of the Institute of Sales and Marketing Management and a Course Director and Member of the Chartered Institute of Marketing.

With an engaging, fun and yet challenging style, Dave is able to tailor his slant and format according to the needs of his audience. Thanks to his calm yet enthusiastic approach, delegates quickly feel at ease and relaxed.

Dave comments, “A few years selling for a sharply declining sports brand is a hard yet great way to start out in sales. Strange though that may sound, there is no better grounding. After much sales success and recognition in national, key and business development account roles, I found it was from developing people that I derived greatest pleasure”.

Introducing Anne Fogarty

Anne Fogarty

Anne Fogarty has nine years’ experience as a training consultant in the UK and Ireland, working with a range of public and private sector organisations. This included two years as management trainer with the BBC, where she led the design, delivery and evaluation of ‘Leadership Essentials’, an award-nominated strategic six-day leadership programme for new BBC managers.

She also spent six years in Microsoft’s European Operations centre – four at middle management level.

Anne’s areas of expertise include the design, project management, delivery and evaluation of programmes, from sixty minutes to six months. Topics covered include:
- facilitation at all levels in organisations.
- performance management processes and systems.
- leadership and management development
- presentation, training, communication and influencing skills
- team building
- and personal effectiveness

Anne has an MSc in Training & Performance Management and a BA in International Marketing & Languages. She is fluent in English and Spanish, strong in French and has a working knowledge of Portuguese.

She is a Myers Briggs Type Indicator (Steps I and II). She’s also trained in SDI (Strength Deployment Inventory), Hogan Assessment Instruments and OPQ32 and has Belbin e-interplace and Team Role accreditation.


Introducing Chantal Burns

Chantal Burns

Chantal Burns is a highly skilled success coach and trainer. After 15 years working in media and business development, Chantal is now a consultant, providing world class training and coaching services.

Chantal is a licensed MBTI (Myers Briggs Type Indicator) and SDI (Strengths Deployment Indicator) facilitator and is experienced in using these powerful tools with both individuals and teams. She’s also a fully qualified NLP Trainer.

Chantal excels at helping people get the results they want – whether that’s winning new business, creating a high performing team or making a major career or life change.
